A method for determining a presence of a relay node (102) in a wireless communications system. The method includes receiving, from a network node (102, 106) in the system, information indicating the presence of at least one of an access node and the relay node (210). The method further includes determining (220) whether the network node is the one of the access node and the relay node based on the information.

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de déterminer la présence dun nud relais (102) dans un système de communication sans fil. Le procédé comprend la réception, depuis un nud de réseau (102, 106) dans le système, dune information indiquant la présence dau moins un nud daccès et du nud relais (210).
