The invention relates to a cutting machine for cutting a flexible material by means of a cutting wheel (37) rotated by a motor, said cutting wheel and said motor being carried by a cutting head (18) mounted to move horizontally along two orthogonal axes and to rotate about a vertical tangential servo-control axis. The machine further includes a support table covered with a mat into which the cutting wheel (37) penetrates, adjustment means (24) for adjusting the depth to which the cutting wheel penetrates into the mat, and adjustment means for adjusting the horizontal distance between the vertical tangential servo-control axis and the axis of rotation of the cutting wheel (37) so that said cutting wheel penetrates into the mat at a front contact point situated in the vicinity of said tangential servo-control axis.
Cette invention concerne une machine de découpage servant à couper un matériau souple à l'aide d'une roulette de coupe (37) motorisée, cette roulette de coupe et le moteur associé étant soutenus par une tête de coupe (18) mise en place de manière à pouvoir se déplacer horizontalement suivant deux axes orthogonaux et tourner autour d'un axe de servocommande tangentiel vertical. Cette machine est également constituée des éléments suivants : une table de soutien recouverte d'une natte dans laquelle la roulette de coupe (37) s'enfonce; un dispositif d'ajustement (24) permettant d'ajuster la profondeur jusqu'à laquelle la roulette de coupe pénètre dans la natte; et un dispositif d'ajustement conçu pour ajuster la distance horizontale entre l'axe de servocommande tangentiel vertical et l'axe de rotation de la roulette de coupe (37) pour que celle-ci pénètre dans la natte en un point de contact avant situé à proximité de l'axe de servocommande tangentiel.
