A collapsible hitting practice apparatus (1, 101) comprises an inclined ball delivery chute (2, 102) for delivering a ball to a hitting area under gravitational forces, a support stand (4, 104) for supporting the inclined ball delivery chute at an elevated position, the support stand including a base (12) and an elongate column (14, 14', 14") connecting the inclined ball delivery chute and the base, and the chute and the elongate column being selectively collapsible into sections storable within the base. The base preferably comprises a large bucket (12), the elongate column is formed from a plurality of tubular sections (14, 14', 14") formed of a rigid plastic such as PVC and compressible rigid connectors (16) also formed of PVC or the like which fit within the sections of tubing so as to be completely concealed thereby. Additionally, the apparatus also preferably includes a net (206) for restricting movements of batted balls (3), a collapsible support frame (202) for supporting the net in a substantially vertical orientation, and a base (204) which dually functions to support the collapsible frame in an operative position thereof and to store the components of the collapsible frame and the net when disassembled.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif repliable (1, 101) d'entraînement à la frappe de balle qui comporte, d'une part une trémie inclinée (2, 102) de sortie des balles fournissant par gravité une balle en un point de frappe de balle, et d'autre part un poteau support (4, 104) tenant la trémie inclinée de sortie des balles en position élevée. Le poteau support est constitué d'un socle (12) et d'une colonne oblongue (14, 14', 14") faisant la liaison entre la trémie inclinée de sortie des balles et le socle. La trémie et la colonne oblongue sont sélectivement repliables en segments se rangeant dans le socle. Le socle est constitué de préférence d'un grand seau (12). La colonne oblongue est constitué d'une pluralité de segments tubulaires (14, 14', 14") faits d'un plastique rigide tel que le PVC et de raccord rigides compressibles (16) également faits de PVC ou équivalent et qui s'adaptent aux segments de tubulure de façon à être entièrement cachés par eux. En outre, l'appareil comporte également de préférence un filet (206) permettant de limiter le mouvement des balles frappées (3), un châssis support repliable (202) servant à maintenir le filet de façon sensiblement verticale, et un socle (204) qui remplit la double fonction de support du châssis repliable dans sa position d'utilisation et de rangement des éléments du châssis repliable et du filet lorsqu'ils sont démontés.
