A device for sterilising cuboid-shaped cardboard/plastic combipacks in an autoclave, wherein the packs consisting of product and packing are subjected to heat treatment at a certain temperature over a certain period of time, wherein the product consists of a liquid and chunky portions, and wherein mechanisms are provided inside the autoclave to drive the packs rotationally about a rotational spindle, and a cuboid-shaped cardboard/plastic combipack for use in such a device, are illustrated and described. In order to enable a large number of packs to be sterilised satisfactorily without the packs becoming deformed or their printed design becoming damaged, provision is made for a plurality of packs (P), arranged closely adjacent to one another in parallel rows, to be arranged on support floors and for a plurality of support floors loaded with packs (P) to be arranged one above the other and fixed in their mutual positions. The cardboard for the pack used therewith is made water-repellent by means of glue to reduce the intake of water and the amount of glue used is between 1 and 4 kg/t of dry pulp.
L'invention présente et décrit un dispositif de stérilisation d'emballages parallélépipédiques en carton et en matière synthétique dans un autoclave, les conditionnements constitués du produit et de l'emballage subissant un traitement thermique à une température définie pendant une durée définie, le produit étant constitué d'un liquide et de parties en morceaux, des dispositifs d'entraînement en rotation des conditionnements autour d'un axe de rotation étant prévus à l'intérieur de l'autoclave, ainsi qu'un emballage composite parallélépipédique en carton et en matière synthétique destiné à être utilisé dans ce dispositif. Pour permettre une stérilisation satisfaisante d'un grand nombre de conditionnements sans que les conditionnements soient déformés ou que leur aspect soit détérioré, l'invention propose de disposer plusieurs conditionnements (P) disposés en rangées parallèles étroitement proches les unes des autres sur des fonds de support disposés les uns au-dessus des autres et d'immobiliser en position mutuelle des fonds de support dotés des conditionnements (P). Dans un conditionnement utilisé dans ce but, le carton est rendu hydrophobe au moyen de colle pour diminuer la pénétration d'eau et la quantité de colle utilisée est comprise entre 1 et 4 kg/t de substance fibreuse sèche.
