A replaceable blade knife comprise two elongate handle portions and a blade carrier assembled together; the blade protruding, or being arranged to protrude, from a front end of the handle, between respective front ends of the two handle portions. The upper handle portion has a thumb-nail-sized aperture through a rear end part thereof. When the knife is assembled, the two handle portions are slid relatively longitudinally of one another, the upper handle portion moving forwardly of the lower handle portion, until a latch part near the rear end of the lower handle portion clicks into latching engagement with the front edge of the aperture in the upper handle portion The upper handle portion is formed near its front end with two downwardly projecting flank portions, each said flank portion having an integral, forewardly projecting piece at the bottom of the flank portion. The front of the tower handle portion is formed with upwardly projecting flank portions, each said flank portion having an integral, rearwardly projecting piece at the top of the flank portion, to overlie and hence interlock with a forwardly projecting piece at the bottom of the corresponding flank portion of the upper handle portion. At the rear edge of the aperture, the upper handle portion is formed, at the bottom thereof, with a forwardly directed projection which engages in a recess at a rear wall of the lower handle portion to interlock the two handle portions together at the rear end of the handle.
La présente invention a pour objet un couteau à lame remplaçable comportant deux parties de forme allongée constituant le manche ainsi qu'un porte-lames assemblés l'un à l'autre; la lame émerge ou peut émerger de l'extrémité avant du manche, entre les deux parties constituant le manche. La partie supérieure du manche comporte une ouverture de la taille de l'ongle du pouce traversant l'extrémité arrière de cette partie. Pour l'assemblage du manche, les deux parties constituant le manche glissent l'une par rapport à l'autre dans leur axe longitudinal; la partie supérieure du manche est déplacée vers l'avant de la partie inférieure du manche jusqu'à l'enclenchement d'un organe de verrouillage situé près de l'extrémité arrière de la partie inférieure, assurant l'assemblage mécanique avec le bord avant de l'ouverture dans la partie supérieure du manche. La partie supérieure du manche comporte, près de son extrémité avant, deux faces latérales en saillie vers le bas, chacune des faces en question comportant une partie en projection à sa partie inférieure. La partie avant de la partie inférieure du manche comporte des faces latérales en projection vers le haut, chacune de ces faces comportant une partie formée intégralement au sommet de chacune des faces latérales et en projection vers l'arrière, lesquelles surmontent et assurent l'interverrouillage d'une pièce en projection vers l'avant et située au bas de la face latérale correspondante de la partie supérieure du manche. Près du bord arrière de l'ouverture, au bas de la partie inférieure du manche, la partie inférieure du manche comporte une projection orientée vers l'avant, laquelle va se loger dans un évidement pratiqué dans la paroi arrière de la partie inférieure du manche, de façon à assurer l'interverrouillage de l'extrémité arrière des deux parties constituant le manche.
