A remote operated coil connector apparatus for use with coiled tubing in a well bore. The apparatus has upper (9, 10) and lower (16) mechanical and electrical (13, 17) connectors. These connectors are adapted for remote operation with respect to a tool holder (22) that secures a tool string within a well bore.
