Anionic monoazo dyes of the formula (1) in which A represents a 1- or 2- naphthyl residue, which is substituted by a total of one or two sulphonic and/or carboxylic acid groups, R1 represents hydrogen or C1-C4alkyl, each D1 and D2, independently of the other, represent either an amino acid residue resulting from removal of a hydrogen atom from the amino group of the amino acid or the residue -NR2R3, in which each R2 and R3, independently of the other, represent hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl, C2-C6alkyl which is substituted by hydroxy, halogen or cyano, phenyl which is unsubstituted or monosubstituted by hydroxy, halogen, SO3H, C1-C4alkyl or C1-C4alkoxy or alternatively, R2 and R3, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are connected, complete a saturated, 5- or 6-membered ring which may contain, in addition to the nitrogen atom, one nitrogen or oxygen atom and which may be further substituted and n is 0 or 1, a process for their preparation and the use of these dyes for dyeing natural or synthetic materials, in particular, paper.
L'invention porte sur des teintures de monoazo anionique représentées par la formule (1) dans laquelle A représente un résidu de 1- ou 2-naphthyl, qui est substitué par un total de un ou deux groupes d'acide sulfonique et/ou carboxylique, R¿1? représente hydrogène ou C¿1?-C¿4?alkyl, D¿1? et D¿2?, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, représente chacun soit un résidu d'acide aminé résultant du retrait d'un atome d'hydrogène du groupe aminé de l'acide aminé, soit le résidu -NR¿2?R¿3?, dans lequel R¿2? et R¿3?, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, représente hydrogène, C¿1?-C¿4?alkyl, C¿2?-C¿6?alkyl qui est substitué par hydroxy, halogène, ou cyano, phényle qui n'est pas substitué ou monosubstitué par hydroxy, halogène, SO¿3?H, C¿1?-C¿4?alkyl ou C¿1?-C¿4?alkoxy ou, dans une alternative, R¿2? et R¿3?, ensemble avec l'atome d'azote auquel ils sont reliés, complètent un noyau à 5 ou 6 éléments saturé qui peut contenir, en plus de l'atome d'azote, un atome d'azote ou d'oxygène et peut être encore substitué et n est 0 ou 1. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de préparation et d'utilisation de ces teintures afin de teindre des matériaux synthétiques ou naturels, notamment du papier.
