A dishwasher comprises a wash chamber, a water circulation system for passing water into and out of the wash chamber, and a water-collecting sump member (12) which is fastened in a water- tight manner to an opening (14) in a lower end portion of the wash chamber. The sump member is a self-contained molded plastic unit comprising an upper portion which constitutes an interface for connecting the sump member in a water-tight manner to said opening (14), and a lower portion comprising a water collecting receptacle, wherein said upper portion comprises at least one integral fitting for connecting the sump member to a water inlet conduit and/or a drain conduit of the dishwasher.

La présente invention concerne un lave-vaisselle comportant une chambre de lavage, un système de circulation d'eau pour permettre l'entrée et la sortie d'eau dans et hors de la chambre de lavage, et un bac de collecte d'eau (12) qui est fixé de manière étanche à une ouverture (14) dans une partie d'extrémité inférieure de la chambre de lavage. Le bac de collecte d'eau est une unité en matière plastique autonome comportant une partie supérieure qui constitue une interface pour le raccordement étanche du bac de collecte d'eau à ladite ouverture (14), et une partie inférieure comportant un réceptacle de collecte d'eau, ladite partie supérieure comportant au moins un raccord intégral pour raccorder le bac de collecte d'eau à un conduit d'arrivée d'eau et/ou un conduit de vidange du lave-vaisselle.
