The invention relates to home haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis to be carried out by the patient or other non-professional users. The invention provides a system based on recirculation of dialysate from small dialysate containers, which allows for very small dialysate consumption and easy portability. The system thereby also allows for long- duration dialysis without use of large volumes of dialysate. The invention may be implemented as a hemodialysis system, a process for administering dialysate, or as a method for performing dialysis.

L'invention concerne une hémodialyse ou une dialyse péritonéale à effectuer à domicile par le patient ou d'autres utilisateurs non professionnels. L'invention met à disposition un système basé sur la recirculation de dialysat à partir de petits récipients à dialysat, permettant une très faible consommation de dialysat et facilitant la portabilité. Le système permet ainsi également la dialyse de longue durée sans utiliser de volumes importants de dialysat. L'invention peut être mise en AEuvre en tant que système d'hémodialyse, procédé d'administration de dialysat ou procédé de réalisation de la dialyse.
