An assembly of a drill pipe and a connector (10) for connecting a hose (50) to a side-bore (52) of a the drill pipe (54), the drill pipe (54) having a wall (54a) enclosing a main bore (54b), and the side-bore (52) extending through the wall (54a) from the main bore (54b) to the exterior of the drill pipe (54), the connector (10) comprising a hose connector body (12) which forms a first end of the connector (10) which is adapted to be connected to the hose (50), and a drill pipe connector body (14) which forms a second end of the connector (10) which is connected to the drill pipe (54), the connector (10) having an exterior surface and an interior surface which encloses a bore (20, 22) extending from the first end of the connector (10) to a second end of the connector (10), the drill pipe connector body (12) being provided with at least one bayonet connector formation (44) which extends from the exterior surface of the connector (10) generally radially outwardly relative to the bore (20, 22), the bayonet connector formation (44) extending over less than half of the circumference of the exterior surface of the drill pipe connector body (14), wherein the drill pipe connector body (14) is also provided with means for ensuring a substantially fluid tight seal between the connector (10) and the surface of the drill pipe (54) enclosing the side- bore (52).

L'invention concerne une tige de forage et un raccord (10) permettant de raccorder un tuyau (50) à un forage latéral (52) de la tige de forage (54), la tige de forage (54) comportant une paroi (54a) renfermant un forage principal (54b), et le forage latéral (52) s'étendant à travers la paroi (54a) depuis le forage principal (54b) vers l'extérieur de la tige de forage (54). Le raccord (10) comprend un corps de raccord de tuyau (12) qui forme une première extrémité du raccord (10) qui est conçu pour être raccordé au tuyau (50), et un corps de raccord de tige de forage (14) qui forme une seconde extrémité du raccord (10) raccordée à la tige de forage (54), le raccord (10) comportant une surface extérieure et une surface intérieure renfermant un forage (20, 22) s'étendant depuis la première extrémité du raccord (10) vers une seconde extrémité du raccord (10). Le corps de raccord de tige de forage (12) est muni d'au moins une formation de raccord à baïonnette (44) qui s'étend depuis la surface extérieure du raccord (10) généralement radialement vers l'extérieur par rapport au forage (20, 22), la formation de raccord à baïonnette (44) s'étendant sur moins de la moitié de la circonférence de la surface extérieure du corps de raccord de tige de forage (14). Ledit corps (14) est également muni d'un moyen permettant de fournir un joint sensiblement étanche aux liquides entre le raccord (10) et la surface de la tige de forage (54) renfermant le forage principal (52).
