Resample length L between sampling points of a linear, where the length L is used for resampling the linear object, is set such that an error Er between a resample shape obtained by connecting the sampling points and the linear object does not exceed a predetermined allowable error. Since the allowable error is predetermined and the resample length L is determined not to exceed that error, the resample shape excellently follows the linear object.

Dans le procédé décrit, la longueur (L) de rééchantillonnage entre les points d'échantillonnage d'un linéament, utilisée pour rééchantillonner l'objet linéaire, est définie de telle manière que l'erreur (Er) entre la forme de rééchantillonnage qu'on obtient en reliant les points d'échantillonnage et l'objet linéaire n'excède pas une erreur admissible prédéterminée. Etant donné que l'erreur admissible est prédéterminée et que la longueur L de rééchantillonnage est définie de manière à ne pas excéder cette erreur, la forme de rééchantillonnage présente une excellente concordance avec l'objet linéaire.
