The invention relates to a phosphate containing particles consisting of a mineral core and a lanthanum cerium terbium phosphate shell uniformly coating the mineral core with a thickness greater than or equal to 300 nm, characterized in that the particles have a mean diameter between 3 and 6 µm and in that the lanthanum cerium terbium phosphate has the following general formula (1): La(1-x-y)CexTbyPO4 (1), where x and y comply with the following conditions: 0.4 = x = 0.7 and 0.13 = y = 0.17. The invention also relates to a phosphor containing the above-described phosphate.
L'invention concerne un phosphate du type comprenant des particules constituées d'un coeur minéral et d'une coquille à base d'un phosphate de lanthane, de cérium et de terbium et recouvrant de façon homogène le coeur minéral sur une épaisseur égale ou supérieure à 300 nm, qui est caractérisé en ce que les particules présentent un diamètre moyen compris entre 3 et 6 µm et en ce que le phosphate de lanthane, de cérium et de terbium répond à la formule générale (1) suivante : La(1-x-y)Ce x Tb y PO4 (1) dans laquelle x et y vérifient les conditions suivantes : 0,4 <= x <= 0,7 et 0,13 <= y <= 0,17. L'invention concerne aussi un luminophore qui comprend le phosphate tel que défini ci- dessus.
