Abstract: Disclosed is a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, characterized in that at least one layer of the above silver halide emulsion layers contains a compound represented by the following formula (I): Image (I) wherein n represents 0 or 1; A represents a compound residue which cleaves a bonding to Time in the case of n=1 or a compound residue which cleaves one of bond- ings to FL in the case of n = 0; Time represents a timing group which cleaves a bonding to FL after cleavage from A; and FL represents a compound residue which emits fluorescence by cleavage of a bonding to Time in the case of n = 1 and a compound residue which emits fluorescence by cleavage of one of bondings to A in the case of n = 0.
