A pallet for supporting a load, especially for air cargo, comprises a series of parallel floor panels of extrudable form joined along their longitudinal edges, in which each floor panel is hollow and has spaced upper and lower walls joined by longitudinal spacers. Each floor panel has a first longitudinal edge formation which forms an interlocking joint with a mating second longitudinal edge formation of an adjacent, identical floor panel. Two longitudinal edge members each have an inner edge formation which forms a further interlocking joint with a mating first or a second edge of one of the floor panels, and two lateral edge members each have an inner edge connected to an end of the series of floor panels. Corner pieces are connected between the edge members. The floor panels and edge members are formed as metal extrusions.
