his invention supplies a point-by-point writing system for a Bragg grating in an optical guide (4). The system comprises a source of illumination from which is produced a primary beam (1); its main features are that it has a diffraction grating (2) to receive the said primary beam (1) and to produce a secondary beam of the order 0 (f(0)) and two symmetrical higher-order secondary beams (f(1); f(-1)) and that it has an optical focusing element (3) to focus these secondary beams on a writing area within the said guide (4). The diffraction grating and optical focusing element (2, 3) define a write intensity function in that aea of the guide that includes, on the one hand, a central peak, and on the other hand two secondary peaks, each separated from the central peak by a distance equal to the pitch of the said grating.
L'invention fournit un système d'inscription point par point d'un réseau de Bragg dans un guide optique (4). Le système comprend des moyens d'illumination pour produire un faisceau primaire (1). Il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend, d'une part, un réseau de diffraction (2) pour recevoir ledit faisceau primaire (1) et produire un faisceau secondaire d'ordre 0 (f(0)) et deux faisceaux secondaires symétriques d'ordre supérieur (f(1); f(-1)) et, d'autre part, un élément optique de focalisation (3) pour focaliser lesdits faisceaux secondaires sur une zone d'inscription dudit guide (4). Les réseau de diffraction et élément optique de focalisation (2, 3) définissent une fonction d'intensité d'inscription dans ladite zone du guide comprenant, d'une part, un pic central et, d'autre part, deux pics secondaires chacun distant du pic central d'une distance égale au pas dudit réseau.
