The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of porcine platelet-extract containing matured growth factors, which comprises the steps of: a) centrifuging whole porcine blood at about 1000 g to about 5000 g to isolate the platelets from the platelet-rich-plasma; b) resuspending the isolated platelets of step a) in Plasma-Lyte A and centrifuging to concentrate the platelets; c) washing the concentrated platelets of step b); d) lyophilizing the washed platelets of step c) whereby causing lysis of the platelets and producing the platelet extract in optimal amount. Compositions comprising the platelet-extract are used for the promotion of wound healing.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de préparation d'extrait plaquettaire de porcins contenant des facteurs de croissance arrivés à maturité, comprenant les étapes suivantes: a) centrifugation de sang porcin entier à entre environ 1000 g et environ 5000 g pour isoler les plaquettes du plasma riche en plaquettes; b) remise en suspension les plaquettes isolées en a) dans du Plasma-Lyte A et centrifugation pour concentrer les plaquettes; c) lavage des plaquettes concentrées en b); d) lyophilisation des plaquettes lavées en c), ce qui entraîne la lyse des plaquettes et permet d'obtenir l'extrait plaquettaire en quantité optimale. L'invention porte également sur des compositions cicatrisantes incluant ledit extrait plaquettaire.
