The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a diaper, panty diaper, panty liner, sanitary napkin or incontinence device, wherein at least one part of said absorbent article carries a film comprising at least one monomolecular layer of a polymer having a functional group and an active agent, in particular to an absorbent article wherein the film is obtainable by layer-by-layer deposition of at least a first polymer having a first functional group and a second polymer having a second functional group capable of interacting with the first functional group. Moreover, the invention pertains to the use of a film obtainable by the layer-by-layer deposition of at least one first polymer having a first functional group and a second polymer having a second functional group capable of interacting with the first functional group for releasing an active agent contained in said film upon wetting of said film by body fluids. Preferably the first polymer having a first functional group is a polycationic polymer and the second polymer having a second functional group is a polyanionic polymer.
L'invention concerne un article absorbant de type couche-culotte, protège-slip, serviette hygiénique ou dispositif contre l'incontinence, qui possède un film pourvu d'au moins une couche monomoléculaire d'un polymère présentant un groupe fonctionnel et un agent actif, en particulier un article absorbant dans lequel le film peut être obtenu par dépôt couche par couche d'au moins un premier polymère présentant un premier groupe fonctionnel et d'un deuxième polymère présentant un deuxième groupe fonctionnel pouvant interagir avec le premier groupe fonctionnel. L'invention concerne en outre l'utilisation d'un film pouvant être obtenu par dépôt couche par couche d'au moins un premier polymère présentant un premier groupe fonctionnel et d'un deuxième polymère présentant un deuxième groupe fonctionnel pouvant interagir avec le premier groupe fonctionnel afin de libérer un agent actif contenu dans ledit film après humidification dudit film par des liquides biologiques. De préférence, le premier polymère présentant un premier groupe fonctionnel est un polymère polycationique et le deuxième polymère présentant un deuxième groupe fonctionnel est un polymère polycationique.
