A system for monitoring the configuration of component feeders in a placement machine (10) having a series of feeder slots for holding the component feeders (16) is disclosed. The system includes slot markers (26) for installation on the placement machine to correspond to the feeder slots, feeder markers (22) for installation on the component feeders of the placement machine (10), and a marker detector (e.g., a bar code scanner) adapted to monitor the arrangement of slot markers and feeder markers in the machine while the machine is in operation. Methods of use are also disclosed.
On décrit un système permettant de surveiller la configuration de distributeurs de composants dans une machine (10) de disposition des composants comportant une série de fentes de distributeur servant à retenir les distributeurs (16) de composants. Le système comprend des repères (26) de fente destinés à être installés sur la machine de disposition des composants pour qu'ils correspondent à des fentes de distributeur, des indicateurs (22) de distributeur destinés à être installés sur les distributeurs de composants de la machine (10) de disposition des composants et un détecteur de repère (par exemple un lecteur de code à barres) adapté pour surveiller la configuration des repères de fente et des repères de distributeur dans la machine lorsque cette dernière fonctionne.
