The lining of lateral pipelines (16) is effected from the service end by inserting a resin impregnated lining tube (10) into the lateral using a push rod (42). The leading end of the push rod is attached to the liner by a releasable device so that once the liner is in place, and the rod pulled back, the liner detaches and remains in the lateral. The liner is held in folded state by straps (50) which are broken as the rod is pulled back in that a rope attached to the leading end of the rod is trapped under the straps and breaks them one by one as the rod is rectracted.
On effectue la doublure de conduits latéraux (16) depuis l'extrémité de branchement par introduction d'un tube de doublure (10) imprégné de résine dans le conduit latéral au moyen d'une tige poussoir (42). L'extrémité avant de la tige poussoir est fixée à la doublure par un dispositif détachable, de façon que la doublure se détache et reste dans le conduit une fois qu'elle est mise en place et que la tige est retirée. La doublure est maintenue en position repliée par des bandes de fixation (50) se cassant simultanément au retrait de la tige, sous l'effet d'une corde fixée à l'extrémité avant de la tige, qui est prise sous les bandes de fixation et les casse une à une simultanément au retrait de la tige.
