- 14 - Abstract of Disclosure A method for measuring mass flow rate of media moving through at least one conduit (1) under flexural vibration comprises measuring of a first value (V2Z) of a first electrical signal (V2) representing the flexural vibration of the conduit at a first section (E) thereof at an instant when the value of a second electrical signal (V1) representing the flexural vibration of the conduit at a second section (C) thereof reaches a zero value, and a second value (V2P) of the first electrical signal (V2) at another instant when the value of the second electrical signal (V1) reaches a peak value, and determining the mass flow rate of media moving through the conduit (1) as a function of a ratio of the first value (V2Z) to the second value (V2P) of the first electrical signal (V2) by using an empirically obtained mathematical relationship.
