The invention relates to a process for preparing a randomly-bonded polysaccharide, comprising as ingredients a saccharide, a polyol and an acid serving as a catalyst, the process comprising the steps of feeding the ingredients into a reactor in order to dehydrate the fed ingredients to an essentially anhydrous syrup, polycondensating the essentially anhydrous syrup at elevated temperatures in the said reactor while removing the reaction water, wherein the reactor is a mixing kneader device with counter-acting blades, wherein during the feeding step the saccharide, the polyol and the acid serving as catalyst are simultaneously or consecutively fed to the reactor, and in that during the dehydratation and polycondensation step the free water and reaction water is removed from the mixing kneader device by kneading and mixing the fed ingredients and the subsequent essentially anhydrous syrup under reduced pressure in the reactor, and during the polycondensation the essentially anhydrous syrup is continuously kneaded in the kneader reactor until the required degree of polymerisation is obtained.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un polysaccharide à liaison aléatoire comprenant, en tant qu'ingrédients, un saccharide, un polyol et un acide servant de catalyseur, ledit procédé étant constitué des étapes d'introduction des ingrédients dans un réacteur de manière à déshydrater les ingrédients introduits en un sirop essentiellement anhydre, et de polycondensation du sirop essentiellement anhydre à des températures élevées dans ledit réacteur tout en retirant l'eau de réaction, le réacteur étant un dispositif de malaxage pourvu de lames de neutralisation, le saccharide, le polyol et l'acide servant de catalyseur étant simultanément ou consécutivement introduits dans le réacteur durant l'étape d'introduction. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que, durant les étapes de déshydratation et de polycondensation, l'eau libre et l'eau de réaction sont retirées du dispositif de malaxage par malaxage et mélange des ingrédients introduits et du sirop essentiellement anhydre subséquent dans des conditions de pression réduite dans le réacteur, et en ce que le sirop essentiellement anhydre est continuellement malaxé dans le réacteur de malaxage durant la polycondensation jusqu'à obtention du degré de polymérisation requis.
