The invention concerns a method for animal marking by penetration of needles (1) arranged in a specific manner on a needle support (2) and by ink (3) penetration into the skin (4) of said animals using a device (5) provided with prehensile means (6) and percussion means (7). The invention is characterised in that before, during and after the penetration of said needles (1) into the skin (4), an ink mist (8) is generated formed by spraying fine ink droplets and air on said skin (4). The invention also concerns the animal marking device (5) for implementing said method.

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de marquage des animaux par pénétration d'aiguilles (1), disposées de façon particulière sur un support à aiguilles (2) et par pénétration d'encre (3) dans la peau (4) desdits animaux grâce à un dispositif (5) pourvu de moyens de préhension (6) et de moyens de percussion (7), caractérisé en ce que l'on crée avant, pendant et après pénétration desdites aiguilles (1) dans la peau (4), un brouillard d'encre (8) formé par la projection de fines gouttelettes d'encre et d'air sur ladite peau (4). La présente invention se rapporte également au dispositif (5) de marquage des animaux pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon l'invention.
