A device and method for determining an exson-intron junction efficiently and precisely. The device is for determining an exson-intron junction in a genetic region of a genome and comprises an input unit for inputting a cDNA of an organism (1) and the genetic region of an organism (2) corresponding to the cDNA, an operating unit for extracting two sequences (i,j) having ten or more not mutually overlapping bases in the genetic region of the organism (2) and calculating s(i,j)=s(x,yij)-C{(b-j)+(i-a)-(B-A)}2, a junction determining unit for selecting a combination of sequences (i,j) so that s(i,j) may be maximum, and an output unit for outputting the position of the determined exson-intron junction.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif et un procédé efficaces et précis de détermination de jonctions exson-intron. Le dispositif qui permet de déterminer une telle jonction dans la région génétique d'un génome comprend: une unité d'introduction de l'ADNc d'un organisme (1) et de la région génétique d'un organisme (2) correspondant à l'ADNc; une unité d'extraction de deux séquences (i,j) de 10 bases ou plus ne se chevauchant pas mutuellement dans la région génétique de l'organisme (2), calculant s(i,j)=s(x,yij)-C{(b-j)+(i-a)-(B-A)}?2¿; une unité de détermination de jonctions sélectionnant une combinaison de séquences (i,j) pour que s(i,j) soit maximum; et une unité de sortie donnant la position de la jonctions exson-intron déterminée.
