The invention concerns a hydrophobic grafted collagen, a method for preparing same and use thereof, in particular in therapy. In the present invention, hydrophobic substances or molecules are grafted by covalent bonds on reactive amino acid residues of collagen molecules. The chemical linkages serve to modify the physico-chemical and biological properties of collagen and/or its derivatives. In particular, the introduction of hydrophobic residues enable the hydrophilic character of collagen to be modulated and its chemotactic properties involved in cell adhesion and growth to be modified.
La présente invention concerne un collagène greffé hydrophobe, son procédé de préparation et son utilisation, notamment en thérapie. Dans la présente invention, des substances ou molécules à caractère hydrophobe sont greffées par des liaisons covalentes sur des résidus acides-aminés réactifs de molécules collagéniques. Les couplages chimiques ont pour but de modifier les propriétés physico -chimiques et biologiques du collagène et/ou de ses dérivés. En particulier, l'introduction de résidus hydrophobes permet de moduler le caractère hydrophile du collagène et de modifier ses propriétés chimiotactiques impliquées dans l'adhésion et la croissance cellulaires.
