A novel-platinum (II) complex represented by the following formula (A): (see fig. I) [wherein R1 represents C1 - C5 lower hydrocarbon group, R2 and R3 represents hydrogen atom or C1 - C3 lower hydrocarbon group, the configuration of 1,2-diaminocyclohexane being cis, trans-~- or trans-d-]. Since the platinum (II) complex has a strong anti-tumor activity and its toxicity is low, it is useful as an agent for treating malignant tumor.
