A pressure release valve is provided for a pressure switch. The pressure release valve includes a first passageway that extends from the interior wall of the pressure switch housing into a larger second passageway that extends to and through the exterior wall of the housing. A check valve is placed in the second passageway and is held in place by a spring and a vent plug releasably inserted into the second passageway from the exterior side. The insertion of the vent plug compresses the spring to urge the check valve to close off the first passageway. Pressurized fluids that enter the first passageway will push the check valve back and allow the fluids to flow pass the check valve into the second passageway and exit through the vent plug.
Une soupape de surpression est proposée pour un manostat. Cette soupape comprend un premier canal qui s'étend du mur intérieur du boîtier du manostat à un second canal, plus grand, qui perce le mur extérieur du boîtier.
