O.Z. 0050/41794 Abstract of the Disclosure: Compositions of matter suitable for use as dispersants for colorant formulations are composed of A) from 10 to 70 % by weight of a water-soluble salt of a copolymer of a) from 40 to 80 % by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound b) from 20 to 60 % by weight of an olefinically unsaturated acid or anhydride and c) from 0 to 20 % by weight of further monomer, B) from 30 to 90 % by weight of a dextrin or natural protein and C) from 0 to 10 % by weight of a further customary dispersant.
