The present invention is directed to a process for the production of molded polyurethane foams having a compact surface and a density of at least 250 kg/m3 by the in-mold foaming of a reaction mixture containing a) a polyisocyanate component containing at least one aromatic polyisocyanate, b) an isocyanate-reactive component containing at least one organic compound having at least two isocyanate-reactive groups and c) a blowing agent at an isocyanate index of 75 to 1500, characterized in that organic carboxylic acids are used as blowing agents c), optionally in addition to other chemical or physical blowing agents. The present invention is also directed to the molded polyurethane foams obtained by this process.
La présente invention porte sur une méthode de production de mousses de polyuréthane moulées, possédant une surface compacte et une masse spécifique d'au moins 250 kg/m3, par expansion dans le moule d'un mélange réactionnel renfermant : a) un constituant de type polyisocyanate contenant au moins un polyisocyanate aromatique; b) un constituant réactif avec les isocyanates, contenant au moins un polyisocyanate aromatique, c) un constituant réactif avec les isocyanates, contenant au moins un composé organique possédant au moins deux groupes réactifs avec les isocyanates; c) un agent d'expansion possédant un indice d'isocyanate de 75 à 1500, avec le trait caractéristique suivant : c'est facultativement, en plus d'autres gonflants chimiques ou physiques, que les acides carboxyliques organiques sont utilisés comme gonflants c. La présente invention porte également sur des mousses de polyuréthane moulées, obtenues grâce à ce procédé.
