The present invention relates to the food field, and more especially to the field of nutritional supplements for the feeding of delicate or undernourished subjects. It relates more especially to food compositions intended for premature infants or those of low weight, which contain mammalian brain phospholipids as a physiological source of polyunsaturated fatty acids of the n-3 series, in combination or mixed with a food carrier for the feeding of very young infants. The invention also relates to a process for obtaining mammalian brain phospholipids.
La présente invention se rapport au domaine de l'alimentation et plus particulièrement au domaine des suppléments nutritionnels pour l'alimentation de sujets fragiles ou malnutris. Elle a plus particulièrement pour objet des compositions alimentaires, destinées aux enfants prématurés ou de faible poids, qui renferment en tant que source physiologique en acides gras polyinsaturés de la série n-3, des phospholipides de cerveau de mammifères, en association ou en mélange avec un support alimentaire pour la nourriture de très jeunes enfants. L'invention a encore pour objet un procédé d'obtention des phospholipides de cerveau de mammifères.
