An apparatus for opening and closing a portal in a structure in which a curtain (18) having elongated side portions (21, 22) is placed adjacent opposing sides (12, 13) of the portal (11). A first end (19) of the curtain (18) is attached to a first end (17) of the portal (11). An opposite end (23) of the curtain (18) is upturned and attached to varying means (31, 33) at the first end (17) of the portal (11) to vary the height of a pocket (24) formed in the curtain (18). Magnetic sealing means (26, 27) are placed on the elongated side portions (22, 23) of the curtain and on the opposing sides (12, 13) of the portal (11). The portal (11) is closed as the varying means (31, 33) lowers the height of the pocket (24), wherein the magnetic sealing means (27) on the curtain (18) engage the magnetic sealing means (26) on the opposing sides (12, 13) of the portal (11), thereby sealing the portal (11). The portal (11) is opened as the varying means (31, 33) raises the height of the pocket (24), wherein the magnetic sealing means (27) on the curtain (18) disengage the magnetic sealing means (26) on the opposing sides (12, 13) of the portal (11), thereby unsealing the portal (11).
L'invention concerne un appareil conçu pour ouvrir et fermer une entrée dans une structure dans laquelle un rideau (18) présentant des parties latérales allongées (21, 22) est placé en position adjacente aux côtés opposés (12, 13) de l'entrée (11). Une première extrémité (19) du rideau (18) est attachée à une première extrémité (17) de l'entrée (11). Une extrémité opposée (23) du rideau (18) est relevée et attachée à des moyens de variation (31, 33) au niveau de la première extrémité (17) de l'entrée (11) pour varier la hauteur d'une poche (24) formée dans le rideau (18). Des moyens magnétiques de fermeture étanche (26, 27) sont placés sur les parties latérales allongées (21, 22) du rideau et sur les côtés opposés (12, 13) de l'entrée (11). L'entrée (11) se ferme lorsque les moyens de variation (31, 33) abaissent la hauteur de la poche (24), les moyens magnétiques de fermeture étanche (27) sur le rideau (18) entrant en contact avec les moyens magnétiques de fermeture étanche (26) sur les côtés opposés (12, 13) de l'entrée (11), fermant ainsi l'entrée (11) de façon étanche. L'entrée (11) s'ouvre lorsque les moyens de variation (31, 33) élèvent la hauteur de la poche (24), les moyens magnétiques de fermeture étanche (27) sur le rideau (18) se détachant des moyens magnétiques de fermeture étanche (26) sur les côtés opposés (12, 13) de l'entrée (11), ouvrant ainsi la fermeture étanche de l'entrée (11).
