A flagpole holder which folds flat against the wall when not in use. A spring-loaded hook releases a cover member which pivots outwardly and upwardly to an extended position in which the flagpole is passed through an opening in the support. The lower end of the flagpole enters a receiving area in the base plate and is engaged by the upwardly attentioned hook portion which previously held the cover closed.

Cette invention concerne un support de hampe de drapeau qui, au repos, se replie contre le mur. Un crochet à ressort libère un couvercle pour lui permettre de pivoter vers l'extérieur et le haut pour occuper une position escamotée où la hampe d'un drapeau peut être enfilée dans une ouverture du support objet de l'invention. L'extrémité inférieure de la hampe se loge dans un logement ménagé dans un socle et y est maintenue par le crochet à ressort relevé qui retenait le couvercle fermé.
