A tape measure (10) includes a housing (12); a measuring tape (80) deployable with respect to the housing between a fully retracted position and a deployed position; the tape having an anchored end (86) and a free end (88); a first coupling portion (90) secured to the tape free end; a plurality of measuring, end fittings (110, 210, 310), each of the end fittings comprising a second coupling portion (78); the first and second coupling portions interockingly engageable to selectively couple the corresponding end fitting to the tape free end; wherein the first and second coupling portions are interlockingly engageable, and advantageously also disengageable, when the measuring tape free end is in the fully retracted position. Advantageously, each of the end fittings have a measuring abutment surface (130, 230, 330) disposed aligned with a zero point (84) of the tape's measuring scale when the corresponding end fitting is coupled to the measuring tape.
L'invention concerne un ruban à mesurer (10) comprenant un boîtier (12), un ruban de mesure (80) qui peut être déployé par rapport au boîtier entre une position entièrement rétractée et une position déployée ; le ruban ayant une extrémité ancrée (86) et une extrémité libre (88). Le ruban à mesurer comprend en outre une première partie de couplage (90) fixée sur l'extrémité libre du ruban, une pluralité d'accessoires d'extrémité, de mesure (110, 210, 310), chacun des accessoires d'extrémité comprenant une seconde partie de couplage (78), les première et seconde parties de couplage pouvant venir en prise de manière interverrouillable pour coupler de manière sélective l'accessoire d'extrémité correspondant à l'extrémité libre du ruban, les première et seconde parties de couplage pouvant être mises en prise de manière interverrouillable, et de manière avantageuse pouvant également être libérable, lorsque l'extrémité libre du ruban de mesure est dans la position entièrement rétractée. De manière avantageuse, chacun des accessoires d'extrémité a une surface de butée de mesure (130, 230, 330) alignée avec un point zéro (84) de l'échelle de mesure du ruban lorsque l'accessoire d'extrémité correspondant est couplé au ruban de mesure.
