A magnetic disk apparatus comprises at least one magnetic recording medium having a plurality of servo sectors each storing servo information and at least one magnetic head for selectively writing or reading data in or out of a recording surface of the magnetic recording medium. An actuator moves the magnetic head to a designated cylinder position over the magnetic recording medium. Position control means calculates control current data on the basis of the servo information read out of one of the plurality of servo sectors, holding the control current data for a predetermined period of time, outputting the control current data before the servo information of the next servo sector is fully decoded, and then feeding a control current corresponding to the control current data to the actuator.
Appareil à disque magnétique comprenant au moins un support d'enregistrement magnétique constitué de plusieurs secteurs de servocommande, chacun mémorisant des informations de servocommande, et d'au moins une tête magnétique pour écrire des données ou les lire sélectivement sur une surface d'enregistrement du support d'enregistrement magnétique. Un actionneur déplace la tête magnétique à une position de cylindre déterminée sur le support d'enregistrement magnétique. Des dispositifs de commande de la position calculent les données du courant de commande selon la lecture des informations de servocommande d'un des nombreux secteurs de servocommande, conservant les données pour une période de temps préétabli, générant la sortie des données avant le décodage complet des informations du prochain secteur de servocommande, et ensuite alimentant l'actionneur d'un courant de commande correspondant aux données de courant de commande.
