A system and a method are provided. Performance and ca-pacity statistics, with respect to an application executing on one or more VMs, may be accessed and collected. The collected performance and ca-pacity statistics may be analyzed to determine an improved hardware pro-file for efficiently executing the application on a VM. VMs with a virtual hardware configuration matching the improved hardware profile may be scheduled and deployed to execute the application. Performance and ca-pacity statistics, with respect to the VMs, may be periodically analyzed to determine whether a threshold condition has occurred. When the threshold condition has been determined to have occurred, performance and capaci-ty statistics, with respect to VMs having different configurations corre-sponding to different hardware profiles, may be automatically analyzed to determine an updated improved hardware profile. VMs for executing the application may be redeployed with virtual hardware configurations matching the updated improved profile.

On peut avoir accès à des statistiques de performances et de capacité concernant une application s'exécutant sur une ou plusieurs machines virtuelles (VM) et collecter celles-ci. On peut analyser les statistiques de performance et de capacité collectées afin de déterminer un profil amélioré du matériel pour exécuter de manière efficace l'application sur une VM. On peut programmer et déployer les VM avec une configuration de matériel virtuel correspondant au profil amélioré du matériel amélioré pour exécuter l'application. On peut analyser périodiquement les statistiques de performance et de capacité, par rapport aux VM, afin de déterminer s'il s'est ou non produit une condition de seuil. S'il est déterminé que la condition seuil s'est produite, on peut analyser automatiquement les statistiques de performance et de capacité, par rapport aux VM ayant différentes configurations correspondant à différents profils de matériel, afin de déterminer un profil amélioré actualisé du matériel. On peut redéployer des VM pour exécuter l'application avec des configurations de matériel virtuel correspondant au profil amélioré actualisé.
