A one-piece plastic label holder for a merchandising shelf is provided with a sign clip integrally joined to the back holder mounting panel. The inexpensively formed label holder includes three panels, a first front and a second middle panel forming an upwardly opening label pocket and a third back panel or mounting panel provided with a low-profile sign clip integrated onto it. The holder sign clip is adapted to receive conventional sign tags as well as auxiliary sign pockets. In another embodiment of the invention, the label holder has a forwardly projecting finger hold along the upper front edge of the holder front panel. The label holder improves shelf mounting, increases sign tag grip, improves merchandise visibility resulting from an increased front panel angle, gains sign stability and more importantly permits a simultaneous display of a large sign tag together with a price-ticket.
