A saw apparatus (10) comprises: a saw bench (12) having a major support device (14) and a minor support device (16) comprising respective rows of rollers (14a, 14b and 16a), for supporting a length of material to be cut on a plane of the saw bench (12); a feed device (18) for feeding a length of material to be cut in a direction of feed Y relative to the saw bench (12), while being supported by the saw bench (12), and while the length of material is being cut, and a circular saw blade assembly (50) comprising: a base member (52) mounted relative to the saw bench (12) so as to be movable in a transverse direction X across the direction of feed Y, and a blade drive assembly (54) for rotatably mounting a circular saw blade (56) on the base member (52) at a predetermined angle .alpha. relative to the transverse movement direction X of the base member (52) in the plane of the saw bench (12).
L'invention concerne un appareil à scie (10) comportant un établi (12) à scie pourvu d'un grand dispositif support (14) et d'un petit dispositif support (16) composés de rangées de rouleaux (14a, 14b et 16 a) correspondantes, conçus pour porter une certaine longueur de matériau à couper sur un plan de l'établi (12) à scie. L'invention concerne également un dispositif d'alimentation (18), porté par l'établi (12) à scie pendant la coupe de la longueur du matériau, destiné à présenter une certaine longueur de matériau à couper dans une direction Y d'alimentation par rapport à l'établi (12) à scie. Elle concerne enfin un ensemble lame de scie circulaire (50) comprenant un élément de base (52) monté par rapport à l'établi (12) à scie de façon à pouvoir être enlevé dans une direction X traversant la direction Y d'alimentation, ainsi qu'un ensemble entraînement de lame (54) permettant de monter rotatif une lame de scie circulaire (56) sur l'élément de base (52) selon un angle .alpha. prédéterminé par rapport à la direction X de déplacement transversal de l'élément de base (52) dans le plan de l'établi (12) à scie.
