A switching device has an improved fastening arrangement to provide a hermetic and gas-tight, secure joint where the electrical insulating bushing (51,52) mates with a circuit interrupter tank (50). The fastening arrangement utilizes a plurality of fasteners (60) that are inserted laterally, or more preferably, substantially perpendicular to the central axis of the insulating bushing, and spaced equidistantly around the perimeter of the insulating bushing (51,52). The switching device also discloses a novel external housing (64) arrangement to enclose externally mounted circuit transformers (61) that has an enhanced profile and affords easy accessibility to the transformers (61) in the field.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de commutation pourvu d'un système de fermeture amélioré avec un joint d'étanchéité de sécurité hermétique et étanche au gaz, dans lequel la traversée isolante électrique (51,52) est connectée à un réservoir (50) d'interrupteur de circuit. Le système de fermeture comprend plusieurs organes (60) de fermeture insérés latéralement ou, de préférence, sensiblement perpendiculairement à l'axe central de la traversée isolante, et espacés de manière équidistante autour du périmètre de la traversée isolante (51,52).
