This invention describes a novel use for cartilage extract, namely a shark cartilage extract, in a combined anti-timor therapy. The cartilage extract is used in combination with anti-neoplastics. The combined therapy provides for a higher anti-tumor efficacy with no concomitant increase, even better with a decrease, of toxic side effects.

L'invention concerne une nouvelle utilisation d'un extrait de cartilage, notamment d'un extrait de cartilage de requin, dans une polythérapie antitumorale. L'extrait de cartilage est utilisé en combinaison avec des agents antinéoplasiques. Cette polythérapie augmente l'efficacité du traitement antitumoral sans entraîner une augmentation des effets secondaires toxiques, voire mieux en diminuant ces derniers.
