Compounds are synthesized that contain nitrogen and hindered phenol functionalities of an aromatic amine and hindered phenol for use as oxidative stabilizers for organic materials, paints, lubricants, elastomers, and in other applications. The disclosed methods can efficiently synthesize target monomers and polymers without the use of expensive catalysts. Further, the disclosed methods can scale up to industrially useful quantities. In general, the methods provide an improved, highly efficient and economical process for the synthesis of macromonomers having nitrogen containing moiety and sterically hindered phenols and their corresponding polymers.

Selon l'invention, des composés contenant de l'azote et des fonctions à encombrement stérique d'une amine aromatique sont synthétisés afin d'être employés en tant que stabilisateurs oxydatifs d'éléments organiques, de peintures, de lubrifiants, d'élastomères, et dans d'autres applications. Les procédés selon l'invention permettent de synthétiser efficacement des monomères et polymères cibles sans faire intervenir des catalyseurs onéreux. Les procédés selon l'invention permettent par ailleurs d'obtenir une production à échelle industrielle. Lesdits procédés constituent un moyen amélioré, très efficace et économique de synthèse de macromonomères comportant des groupes contenant de l'azote, des phénols à encombrement stérique, et de leurs polymères correspondants.
