12 ABSTRACT Portable Sign A sign includes a plastics backing panel 1 and a number of different display panels 2 for releasable attachment thereto. The display panels may include a write-on, wipe-off panel and possibly a panel to which a set of character elements can be releasably attached to build up individual messages. Different mountings such as a handle, desk mount or floor stand can also be releasably attached to the backing panel. [Figure 1]
