A timing device for visually determining the passage of a preselected period of time including an inverted U-shaped tube (2) having opposed ends with at least one of the opposed ends having a reservoir (10a or 10b) for storing a reactant or an indicator, transport means (12) extending from the reservoir (10a or 10b) to the other of the opposed ends of the tube (2) for transporting at least one of the reactant or the indicator until they contact each other, a reactant, and an indicator which when in contact with the reactant via the transport means (12) emits an observable change in a property wherein the minimum length of the period of time corresponds to the time it takes for the reactant and indicator to contact each other.

la présente invention concerne un dispositif d'évaluation du temps permettant de déterminer visuellement le passage d'une période de temps présélectionnée, comprenant un tube (2) en forme de U pourvu d'extrémités opposées dont au moins une des extrémités est dotée d'un réservoir (10a ou 10b) permettant de stocker un réactif ou un indicateur, un organe (12) de transport partant du réservoir (10a ou 10b) jusqu'à l'autre extrémité du tube (2) permettant de transporter au moins un des éléments réactifs ou indicateur jusqu'à ce qu'ils entrent mutuellement en contact, un réactif et un indicateur qui lorsqu'il entre en contact avec le réactif via l'organe (12) de transport effectue une mutation observable, propriété dans laquelle la période minimum de temps correspond au temps nécessaire pour que le réactif et l'indicateur entre mutuellement en contact.
