A fuel cell which does not discharge fuel gas supplied to an anode (22) thereof to the outside at least during normal power generation having a gas diffusion layer (15) of a conductive porous material stacked on the anode (22) and having fuel gas flow passages therein through which fuel gas is supplied to the anode (22); a sealing part (16) dispose around the gas diffusion layer for preventing leakage of the fuel gas to the outside of a single cell (10); a gas supply part (52) for supplying the fuel gas; and a first fuel gas supply flow passage formed by a gap between at least a part of a periphery of the gas diffusion layer (15) and the sealing part (16) for supplying the fuel gas supplied from the gas supply part (52) to the gas diffusion layer (15).
La présente invention porte sur une cellule électrochimique qui ne libère pas à l'extérieur le combustible apporté à une anode (22) de cette dernière au moins pendant la production de puissance normale et qui comporte une couche de diffusion (15) de gaz en matériau poreux conducteur empilé sur l'anode (22) et qui est pourvue de passages d'écoulement pour le gaz combustible qui la traversent et par lesquels le gaz combustible parvient à l'anode (22); une partie d'étanchéité (16) disposée autour de la couche de diffusion du gaz qui évite les fuites de gaz combustible à l'extérieur d'une cellule unique (10); une partie (52) d'alimentation en gaz qui apporte le gaz combustible; et un premier passage d'écoulement d'apport de gaz combustible formé par un espace situé entre au moins une partie d'une périphérie de la couche de diffusion (15) de gaz et la partie d'étanchéité (16), ce passage servant à apporter à la couche de diffusion (15) de gaz, le gaz combustible provenant de la partie (52) d'alimentation en gaz.
