The invention relates to a device for separating the rod (10) and cap (26) of a connecting rod (12) by breaking, comprising a fixed expansion mandrel half (22) on a fixed device part (4), a mobile expansion mandrel half (20) on a device part (2) which moves in the direction of expansion, and support elements (16, 24) for the rod (10) and the cap (26). The aim of the invention is to create a device which will have a long service life without operational problems and which can separate the rod and cap of a connecting rod from each other with a high degree of precision. To this end, the adjustable support elements (24) are arranged on the fixed device part (4) and the fixed support elements (16) are arranged on the mobile device part (2).
La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour la séparation par rupture de la barre (10) et du chapeau (26) d'une bielle (12), comportant un demi-mandrin extensible fixe (22) situé sur une partie fixe (4) du dispositif, un demi-mandrin extensible mobile (20) se trouvant sur une partie (2) du dispositif mobile dans le sens de l'expansion, et des éléments d'appui (16, 24) destinés à la barre (10) et au chapeau (26). Dans le but de créer un dispositif présentant une grande longévité sans problème de fonctionnement et permettant de séparer l'un de l'autre la barre et le chapeau d'une bielle avec une grande précision, les éléments d'appui réglables (24) sont disposés sur la partie fixe (4) du dispositif, et les éléments d'appui fixes sont disposés sur la partie (2) du dispositif.
