Abstract of the Disclosure Apparatus for applying powder on continuously moving strip, particularly metal powder on continuously moving metallic strip, by introducing a cloud of powder into an electrostatic deposition zone through which the strip passes, the cloud of powder being introduced by a plurality of nozzles which have a specific relation to each other and to the width of the strip to obtain substantially uniform deposition of powder transversely and longi- tudinally of the strip.
