The present invention provides a new labelling reagent for preparing modified oligonucleotides and processes for their production wherein these oligonucleotides contain at least once the structure P = N - SO2 - Benzole - L - M - X , characterized in that L is either - NH - CO - polyethylene glycol or -NH - CO -(CH-2)n with n being a natural number selected from 1 to 18, and the polyethylene glycol comprising a chain length between 2 and 6, M is selected from the group consisting of - NH - , - O-, and - S -, and X is either a protecting group or a detectable unit. L is preferably either - (CH2)n - or polyethylene glycol.

L'invention concerne un nouveau réactif de marquage pour la préparation d'oligonucléotides modifiés et des procédés de production dudit réactif dans lesquels lesdits oligonucléotides contiennent au moins une fois la structure P = N - SO2 - Benzole - L - M - X , caractérisée en ce que L représente - (CH2)n - ou polyéthylèneglycol ; M est sélectionné dans le groupe comprenant - NH - , - O -, - S - ,. et - COO - ; et X représente un groupe de protection ou une unité détectable. L représente de préférence - (CH2)n - ou polyéthylèneglycol.
