In a method and a device for separating gaseous pollutants, such as hydrogen chloride and sulphur dioxide, from flue gases generated upon the combustion of fossil fuel, such as coal, in an atmospheric or pressurised fluidised bed (1) in the temperature range of 700-900 ~C, an absorbent containing burnt lime and/or substances that, in this temperature range are converted to burnt lime, is added in excess to the bed in order to react with these gaseous pollutants in the form of sulphur dioxide and convert them to separable, particulate pollutants. The particles entrained by the flue gases from the bed are separated from these gases in a first dust separator (5). A partial amount of the particles separated from the flue gases and containing burnt lime is hereby not recycled to the bed (1) but instead supplied to a contact reactor (8), in which they are mixed with the flue gases in the temperature range of 90-200 ~C, preferably 120-150 ~C, in order to react with the remaining gaseous pollutants in the form of hydrogen chloride in the flue gases. Then, the resulting particulate pollutants are preferably separated in a second dust separator (9).
Dans un procédé et dispositif de séparation des polluants gazeux, tels que le chlorure d'hydrogène et le dioxyde de soufre d'avec des gaz de fumées dégagés lors de la combustion de combustibles fossiles tels que du charbon dans un lit fluidisé (1) atmosphérique ou sous pression, entre 700 et 900 ~C, on introduit en excès dans le lit un absorbant contenant de la chaux calcinée et/ou des substances se transformant en chaux calcinée dans cette plage de température pour les faire réagir avec ces polluants gazeux (dioxyde de soufre) et les transformer en polluants particulaires séparables. Les particules entraînées par les gaz de fumées provenant du lit en sont séparées dans un premier filtre à poussières (5). Une partie desdites particules séparées contenant de la chaux calcinée n'est pas renvoyée dans le lit (1) mais envoyée à un réacteur de contact (8) où elle est mélangée aux gaz de fumées à une température comprise entre 90 ~C et 200 ~C, de préférence entre 120 ~C et 150 ~C, de sorte qu'elle réagisse avec les polluants gazeux résiduels (chlorure d'hydrogène) présents dans les gaz de fumées. Les polluants particulaires résultants sont de préférence séparés dans un deuxième filtre à poussières.
