ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A solenoid operated liquid spray gun for use in directing small volume, air atomized liquid at short operating intervals. The spray gun includes a housing having pressurized liquid and air inlets, a solenoid coil contained within the housing, and a fluid control module disposed within the solenoid coil for controlling the flow of liquid from the liquid inlet through a discharge nozzle. The solenoid coil and module further define an annular air passage within the housing for communicating pressurized air from the air inlet to the nozzle for facilitating atomization and direction of the liquid discharging from the gun. 36744.pat
