A polymer electrolyte; and an electrochemical device utilizing the polymer electrolyte. In accordance with the diffusion of cell-phone and other portable information devices and in accordance with the recent-year development of new use of power source for hybrid electric automobile, etc., enhanced reliability is increasingly demanded on electrochemical devices, such as battery, for use as the power source thereof. Although generally a liquid electrolyte is employed in electrochemical devices, the liquid electrolyte is likely to induce trouble, such as liquid leakage, presenting a major factor for reliability loss. Accordingly, use of a polymer electrolyte in place of the liquid electrolyte to attain an enhancement of reliability is being studied. However, conventional polymer electrolytes have had the problem that it is difficult to simultaneously satisfy ion conductivity and reliability. The problem has been solved by the use of polymer electrolyte (5) having a ketonic carbonyl group wherein the weight ratio of the ketonic carbonyl group is in the range of 15 to 50 wt% based on the weight of the polymer material.
L'invention concerne un électrolyte polymère ; et un dispositif électrochimique utilisant l'électrolyte polymère. Conformément à la diffusion de téléphone cellulaire et autres dispositifs d'information portables et selon le développement au cours des dernières années d'une nouvelle utilisation de sources d'alimentation pour automobile électrique hybride, etc., on exige de plus en plus une fiabilité améliorée de la part des dispositifs électrochimiques, comme une batterie, devant servir de source d'alimentation. Même si un électrolyte liquide s'emploie généralement dans les dispositifs électrochimiques, l'électrolyte liquide risque de provoquer des prolèmes, comme une fuite de liquide, ceci représentant un facteur majeur de perte de fiabilité. En conséquence, on étudie l'utilisation d'un électrolyte polymère au lieu de l'électrolyte liquide pour augmenter la fiabilité. Cependant, les électrolytes polymères conventionnels se sont heurtés au problème de satisfaire simultanément la conductivité ionique et la fiabilité. Ce problème est résolu par l'utilisation d'un électrolyte polymère (5) possédant un groupe carbonyle cétonique caractérisé en ce que le rapport pondéral du groupe carbonyle cétonique entre dans la fourchette de 15 à 50 % en poids sur la base du poids du matériau polymère.
