The condensate extraction device, within the internal cavity (4) of the cylinder, consists of a partition (10) arranged in front of the bottom (12) of the internal cavity. An opening (9) between the internal cylinder wall (8) and the edge of the partition (10) allows the condensates to pass and atomize behind the partition (10) where they are discharged at the level of the axis of the cylinder. The open section (9) between the partition (10) and the cylinder is relative to the diameter of the cylinder. In large-diameter cylinders, the edge of the partion (10) may include serrations which at the same time act to centre said partition in the cylinder.

Pour des cylindres de grand diamètre, la bordure périphérique de la cloison (10) peut comporter des crénelures qui, en même temps, servent au centrage de ladite cloison dans le cylindre.
