ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A relatively simple gas powered nebulizer device which is capable of producing very fine sprays suitable for human inhalation and which utilizes the principles disclosed in Babington et al, U.S. Patents Nos. 3,421,692 and 3,421,699 both issued January 14, 1969 comprises a spherically shaped plenum on the outer surface of which a liquid film is formed, pressurized gas which is supplied to the interior of the plenum exiting through an aperture in the plenum to atomize the liquid film passing over the aperture. The device is provided with openings in the path of the gas exiting from the plenum aperture, ambient air being drawn in through these openings for comingling with the atomized liquid.
